Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home is a sixty bed, non-smoking, long term care home. It is owned and operated as a non-profit organization by the Canadian Reformed Society for a Home for the Aged Inc. Serving the community since 1985, the home bases its care on Christian principles utilizing a inter-disciplinary team approach. The home has been accredited since 1987.

In 1991, Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home expanded from 30 to 60 beds. The North Wing has been converted to a Special Care Unit of 14 beds for residents with Alzheimer's or other dementias. All residents are located on the main floor.

The two-story structure has an elevator, a generator, and is located on 8 acres of land. There are two fenced-in courtyards and the home provides a home-like atmosphere in a scenic rural setting.

Mount Nemo Christian Nursing Home provides three types of rooms:

• Ward - 2 bed with interconnecting bathroom shared by 4 residents
Semi-Private - with 2 people sharing a bathroom
Private - with own bathroom

Each room is equipped with a bed, bedside unit, wardrobe, armchair and individual lighting, as well as an emergency nurse call system at bedside and in the bathroom area. We are able to offer eight private, twenty-eight semi-private, and twenty-four ward accommodation.

Personal belongings may be brought into the nursing home subject to the approval of the Administrator based on space, safety and consideration of the other residents' rights.

Central air conditioning is provided in the lounges, dining rooms and hallways, and semi-cooling exists in the rooms.
